“This is great! I often find the automated routing apps give me sub-optimal routes because their idea of a good route differs from mine. I tend to ignore the official bike routes and prefer quiet streets that I know. The official bike paths are often on major roads with lots of traffic. If you go one block over, you get to a quiet street that's not officially a bike route, but it's actually nicer to ride on. But automated mapping apps don't work that way.”
