Pointz Marketing & Business Development Intern
Pointz is a safety-focused mapping app for bike and scooter riders that leverages crowdsourcing. Our mission is to provide lower-stress routing to bike and scooter riders by leveraging local knowledge, so people can enjoy their rides. We have recently launched our public app on the App Store and Google Play.
Due to significant growth and market demand, we are currently hiring a Marketing/BD intern to join our team. Pointz is headquartered in Providence, RI.
Pay: $13-15/hr

Marketing/BD Intern Job Responsibilities:
Support marketing campaign planning and execution.
Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels.
Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions.
Execute marketing tasks
Assist in the management of the website
Take part in formal and informal training opportunities.
Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives.
Assist with customer service responses
Marketing Intern Qualifications / Skills:
Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Creative problem-solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices
Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
Successful completion of introductory courses in marketing, business, or equivalent
Previous experience with the use of Canva, Squarespace, and Hubspot is a plus
